Sept. 11th Anniversary Memorial Services

Sept. 11th Anniversary Memorial Services
Eighteen years have passed since thousands of people were killed during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
To remember and honor the lives of all those killed that day, many groups are holding memorial services. The following services are in the Sachem area and all are open to the public.
The first service begins at 5 p.m. outside Town of Islip Town Hall. Several services will be held in various locations at 7 p.m. in Centereach, Ronkonkoma and Sayville. A service will also take place in Smithtown on Saturday, Sept. 14.
